Shipping Label Ownership Policy

Shipping Label Ownership Policy

How label ownership affects buyer-paid shipping, seller settlement, and manual payout review.

Last updated: July 14, 2026

1. Why Ownership Matters

The party purchasing the shipping label determines whether buyer-paid shipping is included in seller settlement.

2. Seller-Purchased Label

When the seller purchases and pays for the supported label, settlement may include buyer shipping less applicable commission and supported adjustments.

3. Dakoli-Purchased Label

When Dakoli purchases the label, buyer shipping is retained for shipping cost and excluded from seller settlement. Dakoli inspection normally uses Dakoli-controlled outbound shipment unless the order explicitly says otherwise.

4. Ambiguous Ownership

If ownership or cost responsibility is unclear, payout remains on hold for manual review. No live label provider is implied unless the workflow explicitly confirms one.
